Saeyoon Chon

South Korean pianist Saeyoon Chon won first prize at the 2018 Dublin International Piano Competition and has been a top laureate of the Maria Canals, Hong Kong, YCA, Valencia, Hanoi, Los Angeles, Cooper, Isidor Bajic, Seoul, and Hilton Head Competitions. Following studies with Hyoung-Joon Chang in South Korea, Chon completed a bachelor's degree at Toronto's Glenn Gould School, studying with John OConor. While earning an Artist Diploma in To-ronto, he received the Ihnatowycz Prize, and Chon has also earned a master's degree from The Juilliard School. He made his New York debut at Carnegie
Hall and has given solo recitals at Leipzig's Gewandhaus, Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie, Seoul Arts Center, Torontos Koerner Hall, Dublin National Concert Hall, and Hong Kong City Hall, among other venues.
He has also performed at the Verbier, Four Seasons, Orford, and Rockport Festivals, as well as with Dublin's RTE National Symphony and orchestras in Cleveland, Seoul, Hong Kong, Valencia, Hilton Head, and Astana.
